“Night in Flight"

As the sun descends and most species begin to settle down for the night, wildlife watching need not stop. Dusk is a great time to observe nighthawks, poor-wills, and of course, owls. Creatures of the dark: birds, bats, arthropods, become active. Most are adapted to this night time environment with acute senses, silent wings, or sonar. We celebrate the mysterious world of the dark with our "Night in Flight".
