With degrees in environmental planning and landscape architecture and a 25-year career designing and building unique solar homes Randy has been a tireless crusader for environmental education. Educating others about the beauty and importance of the natural world has permeated all aspects of his work. He is currently area coordinator for Yavapai College Elderhostel and Ed-Ventures programs where one day finds him leading seniors on a river trip through the Grand Canyon and another surveying birds for the National Park Service. The most rewarding part of his work? Helping others have meaningful experiences in wild country. This is the 6th year Miller leads the popular Cadillac Canoe trip where participants are challenged to see and hear birds while being paddled down the Verde River.
